The 2011 Acura ZDX is a curiosity of the car, something apparently produced is not a question many people want to pray or to exist as an extreme example of operation of form over function. Mainly as a rebodied ZDX Acura MDX has a fastback style that significant reductions in the cockpit and the rear cargo space. The sloping roof removes more than 3 inches high back seat, making the rear seats only suitable for short adults or children. And the cargo area measures up to about two-thirds of its platform-mate MDX.
With its swoopy style and position much shorter (which is 5 inches shorter than the MDX), the ZDX seems to have an advantage on handling MDX. Unfortunately, this is not the case, as in our tests, the MDX and hitting ZDX performance in each category. As such, the 2011 Acura ZDX remains a curiosity and a practical vehicle difficult for us to recommend.
Current 2011 Acura ZDX
The ZDX Acura crossover is a luxury SUV through. It comes powered by a 3.7-liter V6 with 300 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission with Driver Shift Control manual is the only transmission available. The 2011 Acura ZDX offers Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) that transfers power seamlessly to each wheel to improve handling and cornering grip in time or by crook.
Highlight Standard equipment includes 19-inch wheels, xenon headlights, panoramic sunroof, backup camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, power tilt and telescopic steering column, electric heated front seats, leather upholstery and features Bluetooth products division. The standard audio system includes an in-dash six-CD changer, satellite radio and USB / audio interface too much. Accessories are the highlights of the keyless ignition and entry, navigation system, backup camera MultiView, an upgraded audio system, electronically controlled suspension system, blind spot warning system, Adaptive Cruise Control and ventilated front seats.
In magazines, 2011 Acura ZDX we felt better than the MDX sport and certainly in terms of overall performance, despite its sporty and elegant. SH-AWD system offers impressive levels of grip and control, while the adjustable suspension is not enough available to improve performance to justify its additional cost. The 3.7-liter V6 engine sounds inspiring and has a solid medium, but low-end grunt is a little sparse. The ZDX also faces short payload. Behind the rear seats up to 26 cubic feet can be filled with glass. With the seats folded, maximum cargo space only increased by 56 cubes, well below the luxury SUV otherwise.
